Outlook.com account won't sync properly

Hi,
I set up my Outlook.com account with EMclient, and it worked great for the first week or so, but today my emails from the last two weeks just disappeared from my inbox in front of my eyes! Then EMclient downloaded all my emails again, but the next time you send and receive, they all disappear again and the process repeats. I don’t get any error code.

There is no problem with my Outlook.com account, as my mobile and other PC (that uses the Windows 8 Mail app) work fine.

Could you please help, as EMclient is the only app that supports Outlook.com on Windows 7. I’m using Windows 7 32 Bit with EMclient free version.

Hi, what version of eM Client are you currently using on your computer, can you check for the exact version number in Help > About?
Are you using your account using the “AirSync” protocol?

Hi Paul,

I am using version 6.0.21040.0. Yes, I do use the AirSync protocol, but I never turned on airsync, EMclient turned it on automatically when I set up my Outlook.com account.

Hi again Selwyn, I’m afraid that this might be a server issue, as some of AirSync users have experienced this while using AirSync to synchronize accounts. Please try to update your eM Client to this release http://www.emclient.com/dist/v6.0.21289/setup.msi and check if the issue persists.

If it does, please navigate to Tools > Settings > Advanced and turn on AirSync logging for the problematic account, save the settings and replicate the issue. Once the issue reoccurs and your account start to be resynchronized, please go back to the advanced settings window and click on “Send logs” to submit the logs to my email [email protected].

Also please include a reference link to this forum topic if you need to submit the logs.

Ok, I have installed the update and it seams to be working fine now! Yay!

It still was wierd when it synced for the first time, first it downloaded the emails from the middle of my inbox then downwards to the oldest ones then upwards to the newest ones.

But at least it works! But, if it stops working again, I’ll email you with some logs.
