Multiweek calendar view (2, 3, or however many weeks you "drag" open in Mini-Calendar)

I know this has been mentioned in the Questions area of this forum, but I’ll add this as a topic in the Idea area here.

Please implement a multiweek calendar view, similar to how Outlook and even web-based Gmail work.

From the Mini-Calendar in the lower left, I’d like to click on a date, then drag to another date. Any weeks that are selected in that click-and-drag operation will then display in the main calendar – in a regular calendar grid, week by week.

I know that there is a Ctrl-click behavior using the Mini-Calendar that “expands” the week view horizontally to show more than 7 dates, but this is not what I’m looking for. I’d like to see days-of-the-week along the X-axis and whole-weeks along the Y-axis.

I also regularly rely on the feature in Google Calendar that allows you to create a Custom View (under the General tab in Settings for Google Calendar) with my choice of number of weeks. That Custom View then is available to me via the Day/Week/Month/Agenda buttons to the upper right of the calendar. In eM Client, I’d like to see the same feature, with my Custom View button in the tool strip where the Day/Week/etc buttons reside.

Hi,
multiweek calendar view has been already implemented - simply switch to Week view and select few weeks in the mini calendar. Is this what you need?

As I tried to explain, I’d like the calendar to show a grid of:

  • days of the week along the horizontal axis – one week at a time

  • weeks along the vertical axis

With the same layout as Month view, but instead of six weeks shown, I’d be able to see whatever number of weeks I have chosen in Mini-Calendar.

Therefore, if I choose three weeks in the Mini-Calendar, the grid would be:

Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa
Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa
Su Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa

And again, it would look like Month view – only with three weeks because I have three weeks selected in Mini-Calendar.

With the manner it’s currently implemented in eM client, as far as I can tell, when I choose multiple weeks via the Mini-Calendar, what I see instead is:

  • days of the week – for as many days that are selected in the Mini-Calendar – along the horizontal axis

  • hours of the day along the vertical axis

I find that this current implementation is not as useful as the multiweek implementation in Outlook and Gmail.
