Multiple eMClient instances

How do I open more than one instance of eMClient so I can monitor calendar , contacts and e-mail at the same time?

Hello,
unfortunately, this is not currently possible.

As a longtime Outlook user, I almost always have separate Outlook windows for my mail, my contacts and my calendar. I want to use eM Client because of its tight integration with Google, but not being able to open multiple instances of eM Client could be a deal killer. Will a future release of eM Client make it possible to open multiple instances? Alternatively, is there a workaround that anyone can suggest?

Thanks.

We have it on our todo list, but the next major version (5.0) will not contain this feature and unfortunately, I cannot provide you any ETA.

Me too, I like to have my email and calendar in particular open in different windows so I can alt-tab between the two!

It is critical for me… I have multiple monitors and need to watch calendar and email continuously. I love this product, just would love this feature…

+1 for this feature on the critical path of being an Outlook replacement.

Hi, we do not plan to implement this feature at this moment.

Hi John,

Maybe instead of the vertical bar on the left in which people can choose ‘mail’, ‘calendar’, et cetera, you can make tab pages for ‘mail’, ‘calendar’ et cetera. The buttons/groups on the left for ‘calendar’, ‘tasks’, ‘contacts’ and ‘widgets’ don’t contain extra info, so the whole left column is actually taking up space which could be used for something else.

And if these 5 groups are replaced by tab pages, maybe it’s possible to dock/undock those tab pages. Then people could use 1 tab page with e-mail on 1 monitor and another tab page with the calendar on a second monitor for example.

I would prefer the tab pages above the vertical column which is now on the left.

With those tab pages (if they can be undocked) there would be no reason to open multiple instances of eM Client (which can be harmful to the database).

Hi, we do not plant to implement tabs at this moment or in close future, if you would like to see it in eM Client please make Idea topic for it so other users can show their support for this feature.

Running multiple instances/multiple windows would be extremely handy. In Outlook I was able to have my emails on one screen and my calendar and contacts in another and made my workflow a lot smoother.

Is multiple instance implemented in Ver 7?

A multiple Window feature is a great feature. I miss it so!!!

Right Click on the eM Client “Shortcut Icon” on the taskbar / dock and you can then open Mail, Calendar, Tasks, Contacts, Notes, Attachments in “separate windows”.

Also when you right click, you can also click on the “eM Client” icon (above unpin from task bar) to open a completely separate eM Client program if you choose to rather than a separate window.

(eM Client V8.2.1473 Windows 10 taskbar example below)

If you want to open the calendar in a separate window, right-click on the section icon and choose . . . . Open in new window.
