Mail folders suddenly missing; no Mail tab ands no e-mails!

Hello. I have been using eM Client happily but earlier today found I cannot locate my e-mail folders at all. There is no Mail tab on the left-hand side of the main page, only calendar, tasks and contact. The page is blank except for the message “This folder contains no items and no operations can be performed”. E-mails are being sent OK via diagnostics. What have I done?? Can anyone help?

If the whole tab Mail is missing, try to right click on one of the rest tabs in the left pane (Calendar, Contacts, Tasks) and tick "Mail"in the drop down list which appears. Let me know if it helped.

Hello George

Thank you so much. This worked just great. Seemed so simple (though not simple enough for me obviously!). Not sure how it happened but if it re-occurs I’m sorted. Have had over 24 hours back with MS Outlook and couldn’t cope so thanks once again!! Really like eM Client so very happy once more.

Michael

After several searches with different descriptions of my problem I found Michael who had the exact same problem and George Wilson (employee) had the correct solution. Great feeling that I figured it out without help from my kids!!!

Thanks.

I tried to set up a new folder in my email and my entire email disappeared! Help!!.

I don’t have email so posting is useless. Doesn’t eM Client have a support service?

Hello,

I have merged your question into this topic because it is same problem.

Anyway from your previous post I understand that everything works for you now, please inform me if I have understood it right.

with best regards
Jan

Thank you, George Wilson, for simple fix to what I thought might be a blessing in disguise! But after taking your suggestion given to Michael Hewitt…Voila!  I get to deal with emails once AGAIN!  Blessings!

We’re glad the solution worked for you, let us know if you come across any other issue or questions, we’ll be happy to help.

Thank you,
Paul.

I have discovered that one single mail folder is missing from my list. It was there “yesterday” but has now disappeared. How do I get it back?

You say it is just one folder Elaine? Is this folder in an IMAP account (synced with your server) or a Local Folder?

Is it maybe in the Trash folder?

If not, close eM Client and run C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\DbRepair.exe. See if that makes a difference.
