javascript not enabled error

Use emclient for years and just yesterday it refused to log in to the gmail account i have had on it for ages.

"You’ve reached this page because we have detected that Javascript is disabled in your browser. The page you attempted to load cannot display properly if scripts are disabled.

Please enable scripts and retry the operation or go back in your browser."

javascript is enabled for all browsers except for edge, which seems to crash on startup.

Tried unindstalling the account and re-installing, but it won’t verify the password to set it up.

Sometimes clearing your browser cache or setting a default browser in Windows Settings can resolve this

Default browser is Firefox, but previous reports of this problem from years ago seem to suggest that EM forced use of IE for its web based interface. As I mentioned , the latest MS offering (Edge) doesn’t seem to be orkingon my machine. No idea how long that’s been an issue… never used it.

In any case, setting FF as default and clearing cache has no effect.

I justfound IE on my machine and made sure that Javascript was turned on, with no effect.

Sorry Giles I don’t use Firefox nor IE. I use Chrome, and that seems to be just fine.
