impossible to set pec aruba

I entered my aruba pec email and password, everything seems to be going well, but in the left column I don’t see the account appear, nor the emails I received.

The account will only appear in the left side-bar once it has completed the first sync. If it doesn’t appear, there could have been an error during the setup. Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts and remove the account, then add it again. You can also find any errors in Menu > Tools > Operations, then in the Log tab.

Another possibility is if you are using a Free License and already have two email accounts setup. Adding a third is not permitted and so it will not be displayed in the side-bar.

I have the same problem, only before my account worked perfectly. For some days he hasn’t wanted to know. I tried to delete the account and reinsert it, but it can’t synchronize and therefore I don’t see it in the sidebar. Aruba tells me that the account works perfectly and I can access the email from the web.
What’s up?

Go to Menu > Tools > Operations and look for any errors in the Log tab.

for me no errors displayed, but it still is not going

Are you using a Free License?

If you go to Menu > Tools > Accounts, how many email accounts are setup?

no free license. the account worked fine until last week. surely after the last update something didn’t work anymore and now 2 aruba PEC accounts don’t work anymore. I tried all the settings, but nothing, always red triangle

“no free license” means you are using a Pro License?

Go to Menu > Tools > Accounts and click on the IMAP tab for each account. Make sure the port is set to 993 , and the security policy is set to Use SSL/TLS on special port (legacy).

I checked … nothing to do. does not work

The most obvious option, which I am sure you already tried, is to contact your email provider and ask if there is some problem with the server. The web interface does not count as it connects with a totally different protocol.

If there is no problem with the server, try restarting your router and see if there is any difference.

If that does not help, disable your anti-virus/firewall application, then try again.

If nothing helps, but it was working before you updated eM Client, uninstall eM Client then download the previous version from the Release History

Anch’io ho lo stesso problema. Aruba sostiene che il vostro programma non rispetta i nuovi requisiti, entrati in vigore pochi mesi fa, per la posta certificata. Quindi?

What new requirements?

What do you mean by certified mail?

are Italian national security requirements that you should know if you sell the program in Italy! just as you should know the PEC (certified electronic mail) which is nothing but the mail with the certification of delivery and official delivery receipt in legal terms.

Giovanni, this is a community supported forum, so you chat here with other users, not eM Client staff. If you have purchased the application then it is better that you open a support ticket directly with eM Client and they will be able to help you further.

Is PEC used extensively in personal messaging?
