I just lost all my global folders. How do I recover them?

I was having problems with an error stating that I was “currently in offline mode” and could not get eM Client to operate correctly. I’m not sure what I did in the error dialog box but it erased all my global folders. Can I recover them somehow?

in the first place go to Tools - Settings and check if you have ticked “Show Global folders”.
