I want all messages saved LOCALLY on machine in original folders - HELP - PLEASE

I am an idiot !!  Started using eM Client ~ 6 months ago; thought ALL messages are/wud be ‘saved’ OFFLINE on my machine for access anytime LATER when NOT connected to internet. Just now (sorry - told u I am stupid !!) realized that if/when I ‘click’ on a message ‘header’ in one of my 45-50 e-mail ‘folders’, and am NOT online, error message shows its face & tells me I’m
NOT connected & can’t, therefore, download my message[s]. Soooo, I have looked on ‘help site’ to determine method to make sure I am DOWNLOADING/synching/whatever any/all messages
to this machine  –  but am unsure of EXACT steps to take. PLEASE someone point me in right direction to accomplish this -  making sure I have ALL messages LOCALLY when I sign out.
Thank you in advance.  <[email protected]>

Menu->Tools->Accounts. Select the account you want to download mails for. IMAP->Offline->Download messages for offline use.

Hello Smartin  –  got ur response; THX !!!   Am I to assume that (having done what u recommend
above) the messages end up getting downloaded INTO SAME ‘folders’ in/on the respective
accounts for future reference ???   (Also, as I am way up in hills here in AZ, & only get to town &
internet access periodically, I have JUST NOW logged on again, and I believe the 2 accounts I
have are currently downloading/updating/‘synching’ )   —  one of the accounts has only several hundred messages; the OTHER has several THOUSAND. I suspect that the ‘updating process’,
once completed [may be several hours; don’t know], will, in future, occur in ‘real time’ as I send/receive new messages  —  w/only slight delay, as there shouldn’t be any ‘back-log’ of
messages to store locally  —  is this about correct ???   THX again  !!!    <[email protected]>
