HAVE TO CLOSE AND REOPEN APP IN ORDER TO GET NEW CHARTER EMAILS

I HAVE CHARTER EMAIL.  I CAN ONLY PICK UP NEW EMAIL ON STARTUP OF THE EM CLIENT APPLICATION.  (SYNC WORKS FINE WITH MY GMAIL ACCOUNT- JUST A CHARTER ISSUE).  I SPOKE WITH CHARTER AND THEY CHECKED SETTINGS AND SAID THAT THIS IS A EMCLIENT ISSUE OR I WOULDN’T GET ANY OF MY MESSAGES.   IN ONE OTHER THREAD THE PERSON TALKS ABOUT A MORE POWERFUL PUSH TO SYNC ON START UP AND A LESS POWERFUL PUSH ON JUST SYNCHING.   IT SEEMS TO ME THAT IF THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE AND THERE IS NO PROBLEM ON START UP - THEN EM CLIENT SHOULD FIX THIS SO THAT THE REGULAR SYNCING USING THE SAME FORCE AS THE START UP SYNC.   WHAT IS SO DIFFICULT ABOUT THAT???

We’re sorry you’re experiencing this issue. The way synchronizing works now is optimized to be as fast as possible and Charter is the only service that responds in this way. There are therefore no plans of changing this in eM Client.
