“Empty Trash on Exit” works when using the File | Exit menu item but not when using Windows’ X button or Alt-F4 to quite the app. It would be nice if those worked, too.
Using a standard GMX IMAP account, both the X and Alt-F4 did empty my trash. That included Local Folders and IMAP Trash.
