Email in trash any older then two weeks are getting deleted.

I have been having this problem for a while and cant figure
out whats wrong. I like to keep my deleted emails for a long time but I cant. It look like anything older then 2 weeks get automatically purged out. I called my host company to make sure it wasn’t something on there end and its not. I even tried a different email client on my phone to make sure it wasn’t my phone app doing it. The open to empty trash on exit is not checked either

I have checked to make sure that the server, em ,and my phone app are all sync to the proper trash folder

Are you using a POP3 protocol on any of your mail clients in which you access the mailbox?
POP3 can set a user specified expiry on mail items stored on the server.

Both computers and my phone are imap
