eM Client version 6.0.22344.0 Crashes Every Day. This was an expensive email client. Several email clients offering many of the same capabilities are free (Thunderbird). I was happy to spend the money because I liked the additional features. But it is extremely buggy so far. More buggy than any other piece of software I have purchased…ever. Please test before releasing to general public. Thank you.
Hello Duke, I’m sorry to see this, unfortunately I’m not quite sure what you’re referring to, if the application is crashing can you please submit the error report to us for more information about the error? When the application crashes, please click on the “Show error” button, copy the error and submit it to us here on the forum.
What mail service are you using the application with?
Also note that as a PRO license user you’re also entitled to use the priority support available at http://support.emclient.com/ or at [email protected] where queries are handled with a higher priority.
The program crashes every night. When I access em client in the morning, it has either shut down by itself (that happened today) or it shows some type of error accessing an email account. Today, there was no show error button. It simply said it was checking the integrity of the database when I restarted the application. I am using Outlook.com, GMail and Yahoo. All with IMAP. I don’t see why that matters when, as I said earlier, free email products like Thunderbird, Opera, and Seamonkey handle IMAP with those services without any problems. EMail programs shouldn’t require this level of user attention. They should just work. Fix the bugs.
Hello Duke, sorry for the inconvenience, however note issue resolving requires proper user feedback in order to allow us to resolve the problem. If you’re seeing any errors, please make a screenshot of the error and submit it to us here on the forum for more information.
I have the same version, except mine is the free em client and it will crash every time I select ‘new email’. Here is the show error contents-

WRN: Assembly binding logging is turned OFF.
To enable assembly bind failure logging, set the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog] (DWORD) to 1.
Note: There is some performance penalty associated with assembly bind failure logging.
To turn this feature off, remove the registry value [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Fusion!EnableLog].
