eM Client startet nicht mehr

Das Programm lässt sich nicht mehr startet. Es erscheint lediglich das Feld “eM Client Datenbankprüfung”, ganz unten steht dann “wurde nicht gefunden” und das Fenster verschwindet wieder von selbst. Neuinstallation brachte keine Lösung. Was kann ich machen?

If there is any problem with the database then renaming the database directory will allow you to open the client again and setup your account from scratch. 

To do that rename the C:\Users_yourusername_\AppData\Roaming\eM Client folder. You may need to enable hidden items in windows explorer to get there. When you restart eM client, you will have an empty database.

When renamed the folder, the eM Client programme now created a new folder C:\Users_yourusername_\AppData\Roaming\eM Client, but the problem is still the same: “unable to open database file”

Yes, eM Client will recreate the folder. Maybe check that your anti-virus or other application has not locked the folder.

Other than that, I don’t know Nicolas.
