Duplicate emails mysteriously reappearing when turning conversation view back on

The latest version of EM Client displays 16 duplicates of an email when I turn conversation view back on. Surprisingly, when I turn off conversation view the duplicates are not there. It only shows one copy of the email. When I run the deduplicator tool it also finds nothing.

Let’s say the 16 duplicate emails are located in the Trash folder or a custom folder called “Duplicates”…

Next, if I go back to my inbox and turn conversation view back on, the 16 emails reappear.

So, could it be that EM Client searches through ALL folders (not the inbox exclusively) to find emails that it assumes is part of the conversation?

eM Client does not include the Trash folder in conversations.

There may be some database corruption, so you can close eM Client and run C:\Program Files (x86)\eM Client\DbRepair.exe and see if that helps. Also right-click on the Inbox and choose Properties > Repair. If you are using a GMail account, you need to right-click on the All Mail folder and choose Properties > Repair.
