Download all mail and not leave a copy on the server.

I do not want to leave a copy of my email on the server. My main email and ISP is wowway. By default, Outlook removed all mail. In order to leave a copy on the server, i would have to check a box in the settings.

I think using POP instead of IMAP will remove all mail on server

Yes, POP3 can be set to not leave any mail on the server.
