Download Attachment (Idea)

Hi eM Client Team, I think you should add a new feature for downloading attachments in ZIP file. i am facing a problem while downloading the attachments i have to select all attachment  and copied from there and than need to past . second option is right click on any one attachment and than use option of save all attachment. But all these two option is slow or not working when i got big data in mail. request you to please add a button or feature to download attachments in ZIP file. Thanks Narendra

Is there no way to save a local copy of all attachments to all emails?
On my local storage.
Is there no setting to store a COPY of all emails with all attachments for new emails, and to catch  up for all old emails, if this was not the default.

Sheez …  a major use of eM, for me, is the added security that everything I need is being backed up to local storage, emails and their attachments.

Does the schedule archival backups, put a copy on my local drive. Drives are cheap these days … 10TB for $150!  Even a $20 USB flash stick could hold all my emails and their attachments!

PLEASE TELL ME IT IS EASY TO KEEP LOCAL COPY OF ALL EMAILS AND THEIR ATTACHMENTS.  PLEASE!

Do you get the feeling that NO-ONE from emClient ever reads these posts to help with solutions?

eM Client staff do monitor this forum and consider ideas that are posted here, but solutions are usually provided by other users, not eM Client staff.

Yes, the eM Client backup saves a copy of your database to a specified directory on your computer.

The best way to keep a copy of your messages separate from eM Client is to use the Export or Save As option. That will save each message as an individual eml file, which is accessible by any email client, and contains the full message and it’s attachments.
