Can't restore from a backup.zip file and can't restore local folders

I had to re-start my account, it restored some of my e-mails but when I try to restore from a backup it says:

I Have been archiving my e-mails and backing up for a while now but can’t seem to restore my local folders either.

From the error, it appears that eM Client cannot find the backup file in the location specified. 

If you go to D:\Email backups\ using Windows Explorer, are the zip files there?

They are!

I tried manually unzipping too!
Really, I just need to restore the local emails.  Is there a quick workaround at all?

To manually unzip them, you need to close eM Client and then copy the contents of the archive to C:\Users_username_\AppData\Roaming\eM Client, replacing everything that is there.

Or, if you want to unzip them elsewhere, you need to set that location in eM Client. Go to Menu > Tools > Settings > Storage, and specify the new location where you unzipped the file.

Then you need to restart eM Client for the changes to take affect.
