Accidentally deleted a folder

I accidentally deleted a folder, a warning did ask if I was sure and I clicked yes, but it did not move it to the bin or trash folder. It seems it permanently deleted it …

I was not warned this is irreversible!

How do I recover this folder and it’s contents? It is not in the trash online or on the client interface.

This is very unfortunate. Do you have a backup file available? That’s the last option how you can recover your lost folder.

I am very unimpressed by your software. I consider generally any time an email or folder is deleted it moves to trash.

Please correct me if you do not think this would be industry experience (with all other email software) and all users expectation. 

I own a pro licence which I can not use (and pro support is useless, that link just takes me to a knowledge base). How do apply for a refund?

The support link: https://support.emclient.com leads you to the page where you have to log in with the credentials we sent you together with the licence - this is how you get to the Kayako ticket system.

By any chance, did it happen in the Gmail account? Other email accounts don’t delete the folder but they move it to trash first. If so, the thing that happened was that the Label which marks this folder was deleted and the emails ended up without a label. Therefore, you’ll find them in the All mail folder. You can re-create the folder (label) and move the emails back.
