Quick go-to index in Contacts?

Edit Subject

I have searched the Views and Tools options but I can't find an alpha-numeric index to speed up contact list operations. I would appreciate inclusion of such in future versions.

Hi,
you can sort your contacts by various columns and search by search bar in them, aren't these features satisfactory enough for you?

  With respect, that is implied by the post. I suppose I am used to such convenience when looking for telephone nos & addresses, from a decade of using Outlook.
