Can ́t get out of the rinse cycle! latest version 2.6.7767.0 on Win 7

Have brand new laptop, running Windows 7, downloaded eM Client ́s latest version 2.6.7767.0 yesterday. Worked ok, even imported ́most ́ of my email folders from outlook 2003 that existed on same computer.

Then I set up eM client with SAME email address on a second laptop, exact same specs. This runs ok, but original install on first laptop now FAILS and gives me the ́eM Client Application Error ́ box, after doing the data folder scan, which says its ok. The actual error reported relates to ́DATABASE DISK IMAGE IS MALFORMED ́. I can`t use this version of eM Client at all - have reinstalled it 2 x but still same error on start up. I can ́t get rid of the email account either - program just freezes.

I understand that only 1 email address can be used per computer. I am trying to use the same email account on both computers - and I-m expecting a message to inform me that a subscription is necessary - which I ́d consider paying, if the product was stable.

How can I get both laptops performing with eM? I ́m in a loop where I can ́t event remove the email account from the laptop with the startup failure. Any advice?
